Member of The Belafonte Folk Singers (top tenor). Charles hails from Greenfield, Massachusetts, and comes from a musical family. His father, who was also a singer, and his mother encouraged him to continue his musical studies. A student of the Howard University School of Music, in Washington, D.C., Charles  performed as a soloist in the University Choir, as well as in the famed National Gallery of Art, and Constitution Hall in Washington. While studying at the University he auditioned for Fred Waring and was chosen to appear on the Waring Television program. He has also sung with the De Paur Opera Gala in such works as "Carmen Jones", "Porgy and Bess" and "Lost in the Stars".
Tony Scott Born in Morristown June 17, 1921. Clarinet, flute, saxes, piano, composer. Performs on "Jerry", "Man Smarter", "Scarlet Ribbons", "Shenandoah #1", Tony Scott's orchestra can be heard on LPM1248. I have also found a Swedish recording with Tony Scott, the EPS-72

Born November 18, 1920, died April 19, 2001.  Member of the group called "The Vocal Three" in 1960, the other two were Bruce Baggett and Billy Stewart. Later member of The Belafonte Folk Singers and The Seafarers Chorus. In 1995 producer for Lena Horne.
