iCan is a BBC website designed to help people in the UK start doing something about issues you care about in your area.
If there's something that's bothering you and you don't know where to start, or you can't do it on your own, iCan is here to help. Some of the ways to get started using iCan include:
If you've got something to say about this
article you can add a comment. If you'd like to write something longer or on a different subject, why not write an article, case study, or guide?
Why does the iCan registration process always require you to display your full name to other users? This would be fine in the vast majority of cases, but not all.
Why not make this information optional, and what would happen if I gave a pseudonym for this purpose?

The answer to foxhunting in Gwynedd is clear. Let them be given the freedom of the urban areas as have sheep in Blaenau Ffestiniog, then they can survive on the contents of dustbins and not on the stock of hard working farmers.

As a regular traveller between Wrexham and Dolgellau, there are few safe overtaking stretches of road. One such stretch was the long straight out of Llanuwchllyn towards Dolgellau. That stretch of road now has a 40 mph speed restriction over half it's length, which, in my opinion will encourage motorists to attempt a risky overtaking manouvre in the shorter distance available .Who took this decision?

I'm finding navigating about iCan rather confusing. Can you provide a test area where we can try posting to noticeboards and creating campaigns, just to see how the system works?
