HIV Electronic Mailing Lists

Asian & Pacific Islander HIV/ AIDS Information

The A&PI HIV Capacity-Building Assistance Program maintains a general A&PI and HIV/AIDS electronic mailing list called 'API-HIVInfo'. The purpose of this list is to create a network for disseminating and sharing HIV prevention information, resources and policy issues among researchers and program staff of organizations working with Asian and Pacific Islander communities.

National Asian & Pacific Islander Youth HIV/ AIDS Network

The A&PI Youth and HIV/AIDS list is for youth, youth providers, advocates and allies interested in addressing and sharing information about the critical HIV related issues facing Asian & Pacific Islander youth in the United States, including the Pacific Island Jurisdiction. The network, which began Spring of 2001, is convening regular conference calls and have formed subcommittees to work on collaborative projects.

Asian & Pacific Islander Women’s HIV/ AIDS Network

APIWHANN is a list for activist and participants from A&PI service providers concerned with the specific issues and barriers to HIV/ AIDS treatment and prevention in A&PI women. APIWHANN strives to serve the community through advocacy, research, and making culturally appropriate and linguistically sensitive recommendations to overcome the barriers to treatment and prevention.

Pacific Island Jurisdiction AIDS Action Group

The PIJAAG list aims to keep PIJAAG Summit participants and other people interested in HIV/ AIDS in the Pacific connected. This list is used for disseminating and sharing health information, resources and policy issues/ alerts impacting the Pacific region.
