Farewell and Good Luck to Prescott Chow, Former APIAHF HIV Program Director

Prescott Chow has left Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum to pursue his graduate degree, after 6 years working in HIV technical assistance and capacity building. Previous to that Prescott worked 6 years providing direct services in the HIV/AIDS field. He is now attending New York University in New York City, NY as a full time student. THANK YOU Prescott for your remarkable work with APIAHF and GOOD LUCK with all your endeavors! You will be missed!

"My first encounter with Prescott Chow's name was through the valuable emails I received from APIAHF's HIV Info listserv, during my position as Special Assistant for Asian Affairs for the State of Illinois. Prescott established a space for sharing ideas, making initiatives, forging policies, and implementing recommendations in the arena of Asian American and Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS issues. Prior to becoming the President and Chief Executive Officer of APIAHF, I was very impressed by the work of Prescott. My work with APIAHF allowed me to appreciate Prescott even more. Professionally, Prescott excels both in HIV/AIDS related issues and in his vision for the highest level of health and well-being in the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. Prescott walks his talks and always includes Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders as part of his quest for parity in health. He is not only a leader within his program, but also an excellent manager and a good friend. I truly appreciate his care and attention."
-Dr. Ho L. Tran, APIAHF President and CEO
