The Asian and Pacific Islander American Health Forum currently implements several exciting programs focusing on various communities, health topics and generations.

 

API Health Information Network

A network for disseminating and sharing health information, resources and policy issues amongst individuals and organizations that provide health services to the Asian and Pacific Islander American communities.

API Center for Census Information and Services

Designed to serve the census data needs of organizations concerned with identifying, defining, targeting, and serving the Asian and Pacific Islander communities throughout the United States.

API HIV Capacity-Building Assistance

Provides capacity-building assistance to community-based organizations and health departments providing HIV prevention education targeting Asian & Pacific Islander populations.

The Asian & Pacific Islander Institute on Domestic Violence

A national coalition working against domestic violence in the Asian & Pacific Islander communities through networking, sharing resources, and influencing policies and research.

Asian & Pacific Islander Tobacco Education Network

Asian & Pacific Islander Tobacco Education Network (APITEN) was formed in 1990 with the mission to organize individuals and groups to advocate for tobacco-free Asian and Pacific Islander communities. The Network strives to counteract the factors that contribute to high smoking levels in our communities through technical assistance and training, campaign for tobacco free policies, developing regional coalition activities, youth fellowship and coalition, information dissemination, our Mini-Grants programs and by promoting the California Smokers' Helpline.

Asian & Pacific Islander Cancer Survivors Capacity Building Project

Minimizing the burden of cancer and improving the quality of life of Asians and Pacific Islanders by dispelling myths, reducing disparities and providing hope.
