Character: Rosie Hoyland
Actor: Maggie Millar
Reverend Rosie
Such an asset to Erinsborough since she arrived at St Stephen's. A truly good soul, and selfless in her work within the parish. An excellent fundraiser and a jolly good friend. I admit to being a little biased because Rosie has brought a joy to my life I thought I'd lost. But that's complicated and we remain friends.
Lou-sing it
Although I still have to say that she and Lou are an odd pairing - mind you anyone and Lou are an odd pairing in my mind! But it's not like I hate his guts for ruining my life and stealing her from me, it's not like the whole Madge thing all over again, oh no.
Snapping at young men
I have always suspected there might be a wilder streak to Rosie. I remember one of her fundraisers was the Men of Erinsborough Calendar - the Bishop was not amused. And then there was the time that hypnotist performed at the pub and Rosie became quite peculiar, speaking Italian and giving orders - who knows, maybe that's the side of her Lou likes, mmm. She laughed it off but it was all most odd.
On a more serious note
And then there's the past tension with her son Max. Apparently he feels she just up and left when he most needed his mother. As I said, not that i'm biased but he's clearly delusional.
