Bonnybridge in Stirlingshire has knocked Wiltshire's Cley Hill into second place in a league of 40 UFO sites in the UK, with Great Orme in North Wales coming in third.

The fact that "The Warminster Thing" turned out to be a hoax hasn't helped the cause but the revelation hasn't spoiled people's enthusiasm for west Wiltshire being the place for extra-terrestrial activity!

The whole debate got us thinking here at BBC Wiltshire about hoax sightings and spoof UFO images, so much so that we've decided to invite visitors to the BBC Wiltshire website to submit their own hoax images of UFOs.
