Serena can't believe her eyes when she stumbles on her mother having what looks like an intimate drink with self-defence instructor Steiger.

"She's devastated, because not only are they having a drink, but he's touching her hands and she gets the wrong idea," said Lara Sacher who plays Serena. "She feels a lot of sympathy for her father and I think reacts like any teenager would. She's angry."

When asked what Serena would like to say to her mother, Lara answered,

"She wants to remind her that her dad is the greatest thing in the world and ask her why would she want to break them up."

According to Lara, she would have confronted her mother there and then if faced with the same situation.

I would have spoken to her there and then," said Lara. "I don't think, even if I wanted to, I could wait and keep it a secret. I would have to come clean and sort it out. I'd ask a lot more questions and follow through with a lot more things."
