The QDI Business Unit of Legend Holdings Limited deals mainly with component-level motherboards and card products. Over the past thirteen years, the QDI Business Unit has been continuously producing innovative, high quality motherboards, keeping pace with the latest technology. It supplies over three million motherboards globally each year. Not only is QDI one of the five major main board manufacturers in the world, it is also the largest motherboard manufacturer in mainland China, integrating research, development, production and sales. As early as in 1995, the QDI Business Unit passed the ISO9001 international quality standard certification. In November 2000, QDI got certified, both domestically and internationally, as meeting the requirements of the ISO14001 environmental management system, becoming one of the first few major motherboard manufacturers that have passed such a "double" (domestic and international) certification. This year, QDI has successfully passed ISO9000: 2000 edition standard certification.

QDI Business Unit has a creative, experienced and high quality design team, which has developed more than ten original motherboard technologies including BootEasy, StepEasy, and SpeedEasy. These technologies have been patented in the United States and have become the global industry standard. QDI is widely recognized all over the world for these innovations.

The production base of the QDI Business Unit, located in Huiyang, covers an area of over 30,000 m2. It has twelve years of experience in motherboard and peripheral cards production. The plant is equipped with seven state-of-the-art automatic assembly lines and operates in the mode of 2+1 combination, i.e., two high-speed SMT machines plus one multi-purpose SMT machine. The wash-free technology is applied along the entire production line. It produces as many as 500,000 motherboards per month.

The QDI Business Unit has established close cooperative relationships with major chip manufacturers including Intel and component suppliers to ensure QDI products support the latest technology. Besides, QDI is the first motherboard manufacturer that offers two years of international warranty . Since 1999, it has extended its global motherboard warranted repair period to three years.
