The weather and its impacts are seldom far from the news. The Met Office Press Office is staffed by trained meteorologists and is available 24-hours per day. Journalists and researchers can obtain information about the weather and the effect of weather on people and business. They can also find out about the science and the supercomputers that underpin weather forecasting and climate change prediction.
