StepEasy II - is completely compatible with STEPEASY, having a stepless frequency conversion function, and can operate in a number of prevalent operating systems including WINDOWS 95/98/ME/NT/2000 and the most recently released WINDOWS XP. It realizes the change of CPU operating frequency in a short time of only a few seconds and improves the system operating performance without any need of restarting the computer or opening the casing to set up the jumper setting. The use of STEPEASY technology has broken through the limits of traditional technologies and renovated the status of traditional overclocking having only a few choices. Now every 1 MHz CPU total frequency can choose to overclock.

The difference between STEPEASY II and STEPEASY is that the former has a more user-friendly interface and more convenient operation. STEPEASY II makes overclocking handy and integrates MANAGEEASY monitoring technology to monitor the CPU voltage and CPU temperature so that you can see the stable condition of the entire system with half an eye. It is very convenient for overclocking, avoiding opening the casing and dazzling resulting from jumper settings. STEPEASY II provides convenient function keys. Simply strike the keyboard and you will get it. If the computer is in case of system halt in the process of overclocking, the user does not need to worry. The system will restart and resume the default frequency in about five seconds. When having chosen a steady frequency, the user can save it so that when the computer is started each time in the future, just press the LOAD” botton, the operating frequency of CPU will be the frequency value that has been saved. Another function of STEPEASY II is the real-time monitor of the important data of the CPU voltage and temperature when in normal operation, giving a very clear picture of the stable condition of the whole system. What the users need to do is just to press the GO” button, and they can see the instantaneous CPU temperature and CPU voltage, which facilitates the users to control and manage their own personal computers. Also displayed in the utility are FSB ratio and PCI CLOCK ratio for the users to see at any time. It is updated automatically and very convenient. STEPEASY II provides a more easy-to-operate and more interface-friendly tool for the users to overclock.
