More than 1,000 people attended the St. John Bosco Youth Day on October
2 at the Holy Hill Shrine in Hubertus. Carmelite Father Don Brick
created the event for people between the ages of 13 and 23. The event,
now in its fourth year, has steadily grown and was designed to foster a
greater love of Jesus among young people.
Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan shared with the attendees the important
role they play in today's Church because of their hope and confidence.
In addition to Archbishop Dolan's presentation, the day was filled
with music, motivational presentations, Eucharistic adoration,
reconciliation opportunities, sporting events and a bonfire.
