Council Members

Mary Crossan Mary Crossan, the Donald K. Jackson Chair in Entrepreneurship, is an associate professor of business policy at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. An expert in organizational learning and management practice, she is well-known for using unconventional techniques to inspire creativity in business leaders. Working with the comedy troupe, Second City, she has developed improvisation techniques to help managers be more innovative, flexible, and most importantly, to think outside the box. Prior to joining the school of business, she worked for Bell Canada, the RCMP, Finance Canada and the Canadian Centre for Justice. Dr. Crossan received her BA, MBA, and PhD from The University of Western Ontario.
