Council Members

Stan Shapson is a professor in the faculty of education at York University and vice-president for research and innovation. He has also served as the university's associate vice-president (strategic academic initiatives) and dean of the faculty of education. Dr. Shapson has published widely on class size, French immersion, multicultural teaching and teacher education and his work has been recognized by both the American Educational Research Association and the Canadian Journal of Education. He obtained a PhD in psychology from York University.
