Council Members

Catherine Wilson is a professor of philosophy at the University of British Columbia and has served as chair of the department of philosophy at the University of Oregon and at the University of Alberta. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, she has served as executive editor of the Canadian Journal of Philosophy and is currently editor of the History of Philosophy Quarterly. Dr. Wilson has published widely on the history and philosophy of science, ethical theory, philosophy of literature, epistemology and theory of science. Her work has been recognized by the American Association of University Presses, the American Association of Learned Societies and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Dr. Wilson holds a PhD in philosophy from Princeton University.
