Over 1500 Women Participate In MÉXico'S First Lesbian March (March, 2003)
Over 1,500 women gathered at El Monumento de la Revolución in México City on March 21st  to celebrate Latin America's first lesbian march. Organizers decided to hold the event in search of visibility on behalf of the lesbian community. The attendees walked on "Bulevar La Reforma" and "Avenida Juárez" towards "El Zócalo,"  Mexico's well-known political plaza. GLAAD was there to share this historic event with Mexico's lesbian community.

Glaad E-Mail Activation Network Information (March, 2003)
This April, GLAAD will launch an innovative e-mail distribution channel for community-wide LGBT activism opportunities. This GLAAD-moderated service will enable diverse LGBT organizations to disseminate via e-mail important alerts, calls to action, petitions and other activation materials to an expanding network of activists, listservs, organizations and community centers.
