     Hispanic Catechists to Receive Certification at Dec. 3 Mass

MILWAUKEE – Close to 80 Hispanic catechists from throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee will receive basic certification on Friday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Parish, 723 W. Washington St., Milwaukee.

Last September, archdiocesan leaders and members of Red Unida para el Apostolado Hispano, an organization of Hispanic ministry workers in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. recognized the importance of the need for formation of the catechists who so willingly give of their time, talent, and energy. Several programs that consisted of 12 consecutive sessions were established across southeastern Wisconsin to provide additional training for the catechists.

The catechists who will receive their certification on Dec. 3 represent the following parishes:

Holy Family, Fond du Lac
Our Lady of Guadalupe, Milwaukee
Prince of Peace/Principe de Paz, Milwaukee
St. Adalbert, Milwaukee
St. Anthony, Milwaukee
St. Charles, Burlington
St Clement, Sheboygan
St. Francis of Assisi, Milwaukee
St. Hyacinth, Milwaukee
St. Joseph, Waukesha
St. Michael, Milwaukee
St. Patrick, Milwaukee
St. Rafael, Milwaukee
St. Rose, Milwaukee
St. Stanislaus, Milwaukee
St. Vincent de Paul, Milwaukee
