Free and open to the public.

Please Note

Parcels, briefcases, backpacks, and umbrellas must be checked at the museum information desk. Food, beverages, and smoking are not permitted. Works of art should never be touched. Photographs for personal use may be taken only in the permanent collection galleries. All photographers must check in at the information desk.

Friends of the Ball State University Museum of Art

The Friends of the Museum of Art, organized more than forty years ago, is a group of people dedicated to supporting and enhancing the many activities at the Ball State University Museum of Art. They support the acquisitions program, making possible the continued growth of the collection. The Friends play a large role in promoting the museum's usefulness to the Ball State University and Muncie area communities. The Ball State University Museum of Art has a long and distinguished history . It has taken a leadership role in the visual arts for more than fifty years and Friends of the Museum of Art ensure that it will remain a vital part of the community's cultural offerings. the director.

Ball State University Museum of Art Alliance

The Museum of Art Alliance was formed to stimulate public interest and participation in the collections, exhibitions, and programs of the Ball State University Museum of Art. Members participate in monthly educational meetings and serve as volunteers by hosting special events. The Alliance also assists in increasing the museum's revenues for operation and for the acquisition of works of art.
