Godly men and women know we're in a war. The battle is for personal integrity, for our families, our cities, and for cultures all around the world. Yet the weapons of our warfare are not worldy or physical (2Cor 10:4).
We fight this battle as "servant-leaders"; we're a different kind of warrior. Stu Weber's book "Tender Warrior" gives us a different picture of how a real man goes to war. He leads by example and by serving. Jesus said the greatest among you would be your servant (Matt 23:11). When we war against the enemy of our souls, we go equipped for warfare (Eph 6:10-18). But when we go to his victims, we go armed with love - as servants.
