Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan has asked all parishes of southeastern Wisconsin to have a second collection either this weekend (January 1-2) or the following weekend (January 8-9), for emergency relief for the Southeastern Asia disaster.
Checks resulting from this voluntary collection are to be sent to the Finance Office at the Archbishop Cousin’s Catholic Center by January 12, 2005. These checks should be made payable to “Archdiocese of Milwaukee,” and clearly indicate “Tsunami Relief.”

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee will then send the entirety to Catholic Relief Services for immediate provision of food, medicine, and shelter in the ravaged areas.
The horrific disaster caused by the Tsunami unites us in prayer and grief with the untold thousands suffering death and devastation.
