The Mass for victims of the December tsunami in southern Asia, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 22 but canceled because of weather, has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 20.
It will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Mater Christi Chapel at the Cousins Center, 3501 S. Lake Drive. The Mass will be celebrated by Father Paul Fliss, coordinator of Asian ministry for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and the collection will be sent to Catholic Relief Services, the U.S. bishops international relief agency.
As of Friday, January 28, the archdiocese has received $1,290,000 for tsunami relief efforts. It will be sent to CRS.
