Services: Catholic Committee on Girl Scouts

The Committee is comprised of volunteer representatives from the Girl Scout Councils located within the Archdiocese. The committee works under the guidance and direction of the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry located in Washington, D.C. More detailed information can be found at www.nfcym.org .

The purpose of the committee is to give spiritual guidance and support to Catholic girls who are members of the Girl Scout movement through programs designed to be a supplement to the religious education already being received by the girls through their home parish. There are age/level project books and awards, workshops and retreats that are planned and facilitated by the committee each year. The committee meets three times a year - usually in January, May, and September - at the Cousin's Center on Lake Drive in St. Francis.
