  Services: Disabilities - Catholic Charities

  Persons with Disabilities Ministries

Through its group homes and supported living apartments, Catholic Charities gives adults with cognitive and physical disabilities the opportunity to live as independently as they are able and to remain the community rather than being institutionalized. This ministry uses a “person-centered approach,” designed to meet individual client needs and address the concerns of their families as well.

Catholic Charities residential support staff help with personal hygiene and grooming, cooking, housekeeping and overnight care, helping residents to gain self-assurance and pride in their independence as they live safely and fully in within the broader community.

Ministries to Persons with disabilities also helps establish a network of people in the community to help their residents integrate into the ordinary circles of like, including family, work, neighborhood, recreational and church environments.

Catholic Charities services are non-denominational and open to all people regardless of race, religion, age, ability, or nation of origin.

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Inc. is affiliated with Catholic Charities, USA.
