Lenses:

90mm Graflex Optar
  • I haven't had a chance to use this lens yet, but my current plans are to use it on a custom panoramic camera rather than use it for 4x5.
  • The lens is the older uncoated version. Color performace is likely not very good.
135mm f4.7 Wollensak Optar
  • Same lens as the Graflex Optar, mounted in Rapax shutter (1-1/400 plus B and T).
  • Coated optics, provides decent performance. Not as sharp as current lenses, but an excellent starter lens that will provide good results.
Schneider 150mm f5.6 Symmar-S in Copal 0 shutter
  • Tack sharp. PERIOD.
  • Excellent image circle provides room for a wide range of movements.
  • The Symmar-S was produced just prior to the current APO-Symmar, and should not be confused with the old 150mm Symmar Covertible. The Symmar-S is in every respect a modern lens, and provides top notch performance.
Kodak 203mm f7.7 Ektar
  • I own two, and both are in non-standard mounts marked "Mount 370." instead of using the Kodak date code. Any information on when these were produced, and what the "Mount 370." designation means would be greatly apprecated. Please e-mail me.
  • One is in a Prontor SVS shutter (1-1/300 plus B), and the other is in an old Epsilon Shutter (1-1/150 sec plus B and T - needs work).
  • A popular low-cost 200mm lens, it offers coated optics and excellent performance both in color and resolution.
  • Generous image circle will cover 5x7 (no movements)
  • An air-spaced, 4-element, symetrical design, it works well both for close-up work and general photography.
  • Lens design was derived from the Kodak 203mm Anastigmat, another great classic lens.
Accessories:

Polaroid 545 back
  • Uses Polaroid 4x5 film sheets, available in B&W;, color, and B&W; with both print and negative.
  • Actual image size is 3 1/4 by 4 1/4.
10 standard Riteway/Lisco 4x5 holders (each hold 2 sheets)
