The Am29F Flash devices come with a rich set of product features and options that makes designing with Spansion Flash flexible and easy. Standard features include embedded algorithms to simplify system software, a set of commands which conforms to JEDEC industry standards and sector protection to prevent inadvertent modification. Product options include the choice of uniform or boot block sector architectures to accommodate different microprocessors and enable optimization of system software design. A full range of package options are available, including TSOP, PLCC, PDIP and SO packages. Certain devices are also available in the Spansion KGD form factor. Three temperature (commercial, industrial and extended) grades are available. Spansion also offers customers the convenience of factory pre-programming through our ExpressFlash program.
