1.8 Volt Flash Memory Devices

The Am29SL and Am29DS families of 1.8 Volt-only flash memory devices are ideal for systems requiring longer battery life and small form factors. The Am29DS devices offer the same dual-bank, simultaneous read/write capability as our innovative 3.0 Volt Am29DL devices, while the Am29SL family features the standard single-bank architecture. The "zero power" operation reduces typical current draw to as low as 1 µA in standby and automatic sleep modes, lowering power consumption. The single-power-supply operation provides full read, program, and erase capabilities using a VCC voltage as low as 1.8 Volts. Eliminating the need for higher external programming and erasing voltages reduces overall system cost and conserves board space.
