Lite 98.7 raises over $26,000 for CMN

UTICA-ROME -- Lite 98.7 (WLZW) held its fourth annual Children's Miracle Network (CMN) radiothon last week. The final tally was $26,470 as of the close of the radiothon on Friday night. WLZW's three full-time jocks were on the air for 13 hours straight on both Thursday and Friday, on location from the pediatric unit of Saint Luke's Hospital of Utica.
All monies raised will stay local, to maintain and improve pediatric and maternity services at the hospital, along with many regional outpatient offices operated by Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare.
