APIPH is a resource for health care providers and social service providers working with API families in the DC metropolitan area. We can help providers find translation services to help with the many Asian and Pacific Islander languages, and the families who need services but may have limited English proficiency.
Specifically, we are focused on enrolling API families in the Children's Health Insurance Program. If you need translation services for families you think might be eligible, please contact us. (translation@apiph.org).
APIPH understands that is often difficult for families to focus on healthcare or health insurance when there are immediate housing or immigration concerns. So we also provide information on housing and the legal system.
APIPH also offers cultural sensitivity workshops to providers to ensure that services for the API community are provided in an available and accessible way. Please call us for more information (202-986-2393).
