FACTS

Video Nation was established in 1993 by the BBC's Community Programme Unit.

Over 300 people have been given a camcorder, tapes and training to record everyday aspects of their lives.

Over 1300 Video Nation shorts have been broadcast on dozens of different topics.

Video Nation went off-air in June 2000, but emerged online in November 2001.
