Tools "I
especially liked NitroX's thorough
integration with Struts and the tool's
holistic approach of changing a site rather
than just manipulating code files"

Review: M7 NitroX 2.0 J2EE IDE
"I was impressed with NitroX. For anyone developing a JSP or Struts
application. I highly recommend this IDE. I have yet to see any IDE
that really encompasses the J2EE environment in such a poignant way."

"Dreamweaver Wannabes"
Rating: 4 stars
"NitroX’s strength lies in its ability
to understand the Struts application
structure and make the information available
to all parts of the IDE....The NitroX debugger
takes advantage of this deep inspection
information, letting developers debug
directly against the JSP source."

"M7 Takes JSP Tracking To A Higher Level"
Tech Rating: 5 stars
Most Java IDE vendors successfully
incorporate JavaServer Pages (JSP) editors
into their development suites to ease the
integration of dynamic Web content code with
Java applications. However, most of these
development suites do a poor job of
integrating JSP, not to mention JSP tag
libraries (JSTL) and the server-side Java
code that is required to build multitier,
enterprise-class Web applications.

Predictions for Software Development and Web Services
"Corporate IT is in the midst of a huge transition to a service-oriented
architecture. Loosely coupled systems will reduce the cost of building and integrating
applications by a factor of 10. However, it may take five years for this change
to be pervasive across organizations. IT leaders should be looking today at development
approaches and architectures that let them manage a smooth transition without
requiring them to throw away the last 10 years of development or get locked into
a proprietary platform."
