Backstreet get down in the UK
Last updated 17 June 2005

The Backstreet Boys

Backstreet Boys have added more UK dates to their comeback tour.

They'll play three extra dates after the gig at Wembley sold out in hours. These include another set in London plus Birmingham and Manchester.

It's their first tour here for five years.

They've all been involved in solo projects since then - the most bizarre is Nick Carter who's collaborated with Pamela Anderson's ex and Motley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.

"I remember when I was a little kid, my older half sister used to listen to the Crüe the whole time and I remember the song 'Shout at the Devil'. I was like 'Oh my God, what is this? I'm so scared'."

"I remember seeing the front cover and thinking 'these guys are so scary!'."

"Tommy's a friend of mine, we write music, it's not rocket science, it's not that hard."

"We write whatever comes out, no boundaries, no whatever. That's the way I live."

20th: LONDON, Wembley Arena Pavilion, SOLD OUT
21st: LONDON, Wembley Arena Pavilion, ADDED
25th: BIRMINGHAM, NEC, NEW
26th: MANCHESTER, MEN, NEW
