Presented herewith are the FY 2003-04 operating and capital project budgets for the Hetch Hetchy Enterprise as recommended by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and approved by the Mayor and the Board of Supervisors. Revenues to support the operating and capital budgets are projected at $130.5 million. This includes $108.5 million from the sale of power and energy, $19 million from the sale of water, $1.7 million from interest income, and $1.3 million in miscellaneous income. The FY 2003-04 operating budget totals $106.9 million, an increase of $5.2 million over last year’s budget of $101.7 million. The increase is primarily for the Purchase of Power budget to reflect additional power purchases needed during the Priest Bypass shutdown, which will reduce power generation.
