We combine the best available science with public involvement to produce healthy shorelines throughout Puget Sound. We enhance habitats through partnerships with public agencies, tribes, local community groups and other non-profit organizations.

Projects

People For Puget sound works on everything from technical analyses of shorelines to hands-on volunteer events, including:

  • Our Blueprint project in Skagit Bay is a groundbreaking model for restoration and conservation priorities that we will expand to include all of Puget Sound's shorelines.
  • Our Sound Stewardship program trains and empowers volunteers to monitor, maintain and care for our restoration sites.
  • In the North Sound, our Spartina program educates, mobilizes and supports volunteer property owners in their efforts to eradicate this invasive noxious weed.
