auto created Local Life
While there’s always plenty to do at Andrews itself, there are times when campus just doesn’t cut it. For instance, imagine that you’re planning a special date for you and your significant other. Maybe the girl of your dreams would sincerely enjoy a table for two in the Gazebo followed by a romantic evening of Rec Center video games or maybe your knight in shining armor has always dreamed of being your personal Pilates escort to Lamson Hall Health Club. Maybe. But just in case, you’ll be happy to discover that you’ll never run out of things to do in the local area. Whether you're looking for fine dininig, discount shopping, water recreation, amusement parks, pro sports, big city bustle,
art culture, or just a couple of ice cream cones and a park bench beside the lake, you’ll have no trouble satisfying your taste for diversion at Andrews. You could make pottery at the Box Factory in St. Joseph and dine at the Chocolate Cafe alongside the lake. Or you could spend an afternoon at the Chicago Art Institute followed by dinner at one of the city’s many famous jazz lounges. You could go to a symphony and an international restaurant, an art cafe, or a photo exhibit and indie film, all within a half-hour of campus. So get out and explore—Andrews has plenty more “local life” just waiting to be discovered.
