| The Special Needs Ministry is part of the Lifelong Faith Formation Office. Staff members provide parish support groups and catechist training for those with disabilities; Christian formation development and planning programs; awareness programs; retreats; and days of reflection for people with special needs.
The members of this office serve as consultants and resources for archdiocesan policies and regulations for Special Needs Ministry and programs dealing with various disabilities. Staff members also represent Special Needs Ministry in the community and maintain public relations endeavors.
This office coordinates one week of camp each summer for persons with disabilities. |
