Instead, one puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.

The Communications Office exists to disseminate information about the Catholic Church and the activities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in southeastern Wisconsin. In particular, the department supports and assists the bishops in their pastoral leadership.

Both internally and externally, the Communications Office works to establish mutually beneficial relationships between the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and its many publics, especially via our website, the weekly television and radio Masses, our Annual Report, Archbishop Dolan's To Live Is Christ newsletter, broadcast and print advertising, seasonal Bulletin inserts, and the collaborative Catholic Schools marketing program.

As a way of building up the kingdom of God in southeastern Wisconsin, staff members offer assistance to parishes, schools and other organizations in strategic communications planning, public relations and marketing, with special focus on:

  • Media Relations

  • Crisis Communications

  • Schools Marketing

  • Parish Public Relations

  • Market Research

  • Target Market Identification

  • The Five Ps of Marketing: Product, Price, Promotion, Place and People

In addition, we offer a wide variety of resources including:
