The Engaged and Marriage Ministry Office is part of the Office for Lifelong Faith Formation. Staff members coordinate the Archdiocesan Engaged Enrichment Days and Weekends and serve as consultants and resources for Premarital Training (PMI/FOCCUS) and Marriage Preparation.

Staff members serve as consultant for the following programs: Jubilee Celebrations for couples married 25 and 50 years, Evenings for couples, REFOCCUS - Marriage Enrichment, UMOJA Retreat for African American couples, Ministry to Newly Married, Ministry to Remarried.

Members of this office provide referrals and information on retreats and programs for married couples, couples experiencing conflict in their marriage, and individuals and couples interested in parenting.

The coordinator is the main contact person for implementing the Marriage Resolution that was passed by the Archdiocesan Council of Priests in January 2002. The resolution calls for a stronger emphasis on newly married ministry and the creation of marriage coordinators. The coordinator concentrates on these areas as well as assisting parishes interested in offering marriage enrichment programs.
