The 2003 Catholic Stewardship Appeal theme - With Your Help and God's Grace, We Can Work Wonders - is a simple theme, but one that makes a clear statement about the power of our collective gifts to the Appeal. This year's campaign emphasizes how Appeal-funded ministries build community and the fact that it is support from the community that empowers so many to do God's work.
The theme goes right to the heart of what it means to share our financial gifts in order to build God's kingdom. Reaching, stretching to be truly generous, takes a leap of faith. Trusting in God to provide for us, we concentrate on meeting the needs of others. We may contribute money, but the real gift is love. It is awesome that God chooses to work in us and through us to accomplish his divine plan. This is the message, the foundation for this year's Appeal.
Our participation in the Catholic Stewardship Appeal is an important way to share our resources to meet the needs of others through hundreds of ministries.
