Driving up the road it is hard to miss this tomb despite it being nothing more than a low mound. What gives it away is the plethora of kerb stones that are still in place, protruding from the soil, although these will probably be hidden when the crop grows.

Its closeness to the road removes all possible atmosphere, but you know it must have been impressive once. Its floor plan is quite huge, maybe some 25m long and 20m wide.

I was going to take a good look at this one today, but the field is planted with sprouts. I had forgotten just how big this tomb is.

It looks as though there are still some stones at its centre, but only a proper investigation will tell.
