State Route 20 (North Cascades Highway), State Route 542 (Mt. Baker Highway), Interstate 90 & State Route 410
For highway and pass information, dial 5-1-1 to access the Washington State Department of Transportation's voice activated traffic and weather information system. The existing 1-800-695-7623 (ROAD) traffic and mountain pass number will connect to the 511 system. For a listing of Emergency Highway Closure and Incident Information, visit WA DOT's website. 2003 Storm Related Road Closures: 2003 wind storms and floods damaged roads and trails. Forest visitors should use caution. Please report any damage to the nearest ranger station. Due to flood damage in the fall of 2003, the Mountain Loop Highway between Barlow Pass and Bedal is inaccessible. Forest visitors will not be able to drive the complete "loop". The Mountain Loop is closed one mile past Barlow Pass if you are driving from Granite Falls and closed at Bedal Creek if driving from Darrington.

Schriebers Meadow is OPEN to snowmobiles.
Only open when the snow depth exceeds 24 inches at the trail head. It is the snowmobile drivers resposibility to observe this requirement. The"NO WHEELED VEHICLES BEYOND THIS POINT" signs must be obeyed regardless of the road condition.
