My boyfriend and I went to the first preview of this movie. I had to
drag him because he thought it would be a chick flick, but we both
LOVED it!! It is so funny. Sweeet and heartwarming, too. The whole
theater laughed like crazy. The characters were well-developed and the
acting was superb. The movie is never as good as the book, but this one
comes close, and I'm a big fan of all of Claire Cook's books,
especially Must Love Dogs and Multiple Choice. Diane Lane, John Cusack,
Christopher Plummer, Stockard Channing, Elizabeth Perkins are all so
good in it. And wait till you see the kids and the DOGS!!! This movie
is going to be HUGE, HUGE, HUGE!!! I'm sorry the rest of you have to
wait until August to see it.
