John Allen, Rome correspopndent for the National Catholic Reporter, visits Milwaukee for the second installment in the 2006 Pallium Lecture Series. Allen's lecture is titled "The Papacy at the Center of the Modern World."
This free lecture series is open to the public and has been designed to provide enrichment and insight from leading Catholic theologians. In 2003, Milwaukee Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan introduced the Pallium Lecture Series as an opportunity for members of the Catholic community of southeastern Wisconsin to learn from national and international experts on a variety of topics that are pertinent to Catholic life in today's world.
The evening will begin with a prayer service, followed by the lecture, a question and answer session, and a reception.
