SPOTLIGHT ON

In Theaters: Imagine Me & You

Opening in limited release this week is Imagine Me & You, director and writer Ol Parker's story of a young woman named Rachel (Piper Perabo) who, on her wedding day, meets the person who may just be the love of her life -- and it isn't the groom. Though Rachel is literally walking up the aisle to marry her best friend and long-time beau Heck (Matthew Goode), her emotions catch her completely off guard when she glimpses florist Luce (Lena Headey) in the church and feels herself strongly drawn to her. Unsure whether her attraction to Luce is truly love at first sight or simply a nervous reaction to marriage, Rachel quietly sets out to find the answer. Though she tries her hardest to deny her burgeoning feelings, Heck's awareness that something is amiss and her own doubts about her ability to stay away from Luce win out. Before long, Rachel finds herself on an unfamiliar and unavoidable journey, testing her love and friendship with Heck and in particular, her own perceptions about soul mates and the very nature of love itself.
