Directions

From Navan take the R162 north and then turn right at the first junction after you pass the R163. At the second crossroads turn right. Go straight over the next crossroads and turn left at the next. After a little over 1km take a left fork and follow the road until it becomes a long private driveway. Continue up to the large house and ask there to see the tomb. They are very obliging. If there is no answer then the tomb is just on a small ridge about 300m east of the house.

There is not much left of this tomb, just one upright and the capstone leaning against it. The underside of the capstone is very smooth and the upper face is covered in tiny natural cup marks.

The whole structure is just 1.4m tall and about 2m square.

I was lucky in that when I drove along the private road that leads to this site I passed the owner and asked her permission to look, which she keenly gave along with good directions.
