The journey up to and past Eniskillen was through rain and fog and as I arrived at the car park for the Devenish ferry it was still raining. There was 45 minutes before the first ferry so I thought I'd wait it out and see what happened. Just before 10 o'clock the rain stopped and shortly afterwards the sun came out. Fantastic!

The ferryman said they'd considered not running this morning and only the sun coming out saved my trip. I couldn't have stood another disappointment of sitting on the lakeside looking across at Devenish. In the end I was lucky enough to have the site to myself. Fantastic!

After that I headed north to catch the ferry to White Island. I finally got to see the White Island figures. Fantastic!
