Labelling this a wedge tomb is a very loose guess at what it once was - it could have been a court tomb, but if it was it would be the only one in an area dominated by wedge tombs.
The site is very ruinous and seems to consist of two groups of orthostats, one at the northeast and one at the southwest. This alignment also indicates that it was a wedge tomb. The southwest grouping forms an 'H' and appears to be the entrance. The other set of stones do not seem to tie in with the rest and could be a subsidary chamber - hence the confusion!
Both Knocknashee and Knocknarea are big parts of the horizon here although Knocknarea is obsucured by a line of tall fir trees.
