This pair of huge stones point directly at Dunbeacon on the hill above. Unfortunately there is now a telegraph pole in the direct line of site.
The taller of the two stones is an amazing 4m+ tall, the shorter on is 3m+ tall. The stones are of the same type as those that make up the stone circle and so are probably part of the same 'grander monument'.
5.4km (W) is a stone circle at Dunbeacon. 8.9km (SSW) is a standing stone at Skull. 9.5km (NE) is a stone circle at Inchybegga. 7.3km (SW) is a stone pair at Rathcool. 8.2km (NE) is a stone circle at Cullomane.
