This tomb used to stand in a thicket, but is now in an open field with a herd of cows. It occupies a position on the west slope of a low hill some way above a small stream. The portal, now just represented by one portal stone and the doorstone, faces up the hill towards the east.

The chamber has collapsed and the 2.5m long capstone rest on the doorstone and the flattened backstone, which has fallen inwards. The 1.6m doorstone tall is full height and the portal stone is very deep (standing proud of the doorstone by almost 1.5m). The top of the remaining portal stone is angled, giving a very good idea of how the capstone was formerly positioned.

The cows in this field were a little edgy. There were very many newly born and very curious calves in the field, who at one point charged towards my tripod and camera while I was 20m away investigating the tomb more closely.
