Great work Tom. I came across the site this morning while undertaking research on sites of interest in the Skibbbereen area for a field trip this weekend. No doubt it will form an important source of reference for what I hope will be a great summer of exploration. WAP referencing, PDF transformations – respect!

Back again. I can't stay away from this site. I visited Tibradden Cairn today with my daughter and dog. I had been up the track before but had never went as far as the cairn. Wow, to have such an amazing place so close to my home. I saw the rock art spiral and was amazed that it is still there, left on the floor of what seemed like a badly tended site. I wonder if anybody has tried to date this piece of art. I'm a bit suspicious of whether it's as ancient as the cairn or was it carved much more recently? Hmmmmmmm…

Well I've definitely got some sort of bug now. I'm heading for Seefin Hill passage tomb tomorrow. Hope the weather holds out. Thanks again for Megalithomania.

Just had to leave a message.

Wow. This site is the coolest. I'm spending a lot of time here. I live on the edge of Dublin in Bohernabreena (well, Ballycragh) and have discovered a wealth of sites to visit within a 15 minute drive.

I've just discovered the whole megalithic thing and am becoming addicted. The PDF generator is the best and I would like to thank you Tom (I think that's your name) for being so generous with your knowledge.

What a beautiful and excellent site. You did really a great job. I´m planning a holiday in Southern Ireland for July. This site just solved my biggest problem: where to find the megaliths I´m interested in.

And from the professional side: a lovely user-interface. Lots of functionality, but still easy and intuitive to use.

Thank you very much!

Fantastic site which has been of a lot of use during my last three holidays in Ireland. Megalithomania is a great guide to discover ancient Ireland, a site to be jealous of, too. Keep up the wonderful work! Planning a next trip to Ireland in September, will use megalithomania again to travel throught Donegal, Sligo and Cavan...

Mari, just to Add Ciaran is my brother and youre on to something re. our Uncles! Also, interestingly enough our paternal great grandmother was Annie Harkin (1876-1946) - her father was John (1834-1923) married to Rose Prior (1837-1925). In 1833 there was a landholder also John who was married to Mary O'Brien - thats all we have on the harkens I'm afraid. I had forgotton about this name until recently - but do recall it comiung up as a young lad.
