OpenSSH is based on the last free version of Tatu Ylonen's SSH with all patent-encumbered algorithms removed, all known security bugs fixed, new features reintroduced, and many other clean-ups. SSlDigger Added 2004-08-04 SSL Digger looks at the SSL Ciphers that a web server supports. It produces a report and grades the site. CryptoHeaven Added 2004-07-19 CryptoHeaven offers secure email and online file sharing/storage. Its main features are secure and highly encrypted services such as group collaboration, file sharing, email, online storage, and instant messaging. It integrates multi-user based security into email, instant messaging, and file storage and sharing in one unique package. It provides real time communication for text and data transfers in a multi-user secure environment. The security and usability of CryptoHeaven is well-balanced; even the no-so-technically oriented computer users can enjoy this crypto product with very high level of encryption. GNUnet Added 2004-05-06 GNUnet is a peer-to-peer framework with focus on providing security. All link-to-link messages in the network are confidential and authenticated. The framework provides a transport abstraction layer and can currently encapsulate the peer-to-peer traffic in UDP, TCP, or SMTP messages. GNUnet supports accounting to provide contributing nodes with better service. The primary service build on top of the core GNUnet framework is anonymous file sharing. Portable OpenSSH Added 2004-04-19 This is a Unix/Linux port of OpenBSD's excellent OpenSSH. OpenSSH is a full implementation of the SSH1 protocol and a 99% implementation of the SSH 2 protocol, including sftp client and server support. UnlimitedFTP.Secure Added 2004-04-07 UnlimitedFTP.Secure is a secure FTP applet that runs in a Web browser. It provides the ability to connect securely to any server that supports the SFTP or FTPS protocols. minisip Added 2004-04-05 minisip is a SIP VoIP soft phone that implements additional security features such as mutual authentication, encryption and integrity of on-going calls, and encryption of the signaling (SIP over TLS). These security features use work-in-progress IETF standards (SRTP and MIKEY). suPHP Added 2004-02-25 suPHP is a combination of an Apache module (mod_suphp) and an executable which provides a wrapper for PHP. With both together, it is possible to execute PHP scripts with the permissions of their owner without having to place a PHP binary in each user's cgi-bin directory. suPHP doesn't need Apache's suExec, and provides a logging function. Stunnel Added 2004-02-16 The stunnel program is designed to work as an SSL encryption wrapper between remote client and local (inetd-startable) or remote server. It can be used to add SSL functionality to commonly used inetd daemons like POP2, POP3, and IMAP servers without any changes in the programs' code. It will negotiate an SSL connection using the OpenSSL or SSLeay libraries. It calls the underlying crypto libraries, so stunnel supports whatever cryptographic algorithms you compiled into your crypto package. LSH Added 2004-02-09 lsh is an implementation of the SSH protocol version 2. It is under active development. Developer contributions are welcome from both inside and outside the US.
